Welcome to Statesville 27 AF&AM
On this website, you will find information on Masonry and about our local lodge. We encourage you to explore the site freely. Contact our Lodge Secretary if you have questions.
What do we do? What do we believe?
We believe in the brotherhood of all mankind. We believe in putting our beliefs into action for the betterment of the world. We believe in God. To learn more about the Masons, go to the About us section of the site.
Are you interested in becoming a Mason?
We do not recruit or invite individuals to become Masons nor do we require that a relative have been a Mason. We believe that men should come to our fraternity of their own accord. You will need to ask a Mason to petition the lodge for membership.
The requirements to become a Mason in North Carolina are simple— you must be a man of at least 18 years old, of good reputation and character, you must believe in God, and you must have lived in North Carolina for at least six months.
